Ba.Sc.Kin, R.Kin

Registered Kinesiologist

Sabrina La Rosa has always been interested in movement. As a soccer player from a very young age, she learned about the mechanics of the body and how to use it to improve her game and prevent injuries. Her passion for sport ultimately led her towards a career in kinesiology.
Sabrina’s approach to her practice comes from her understanding of neuroplasticity and the brain’s ability to adapt and grow beyond expectations. She is excited about using this knowledge and her training to help her clients achieve their goals.
She has a knack for making her clients feel special. When working with a client, she is quick on her feet and can change up an exercise based on the client’s abilities and needs that day while still with the therapeutic goal in mind.

After completing a literature review on Modified Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy in Chronic Stroke Patients, she developed an interest in constraint training and using it to treat multiple injuries and not just strokes.

Passions & Pursuits

Sabrina’s favourite pastime is soccer. She has played the sport since a very young age. Her passion for the game I what helped lead her to Kinesiology. Her favourite place to just relax is at home. As an avid reader, she enjoys just chilling out and relax on the couch with a good book. If she’s not reading about the field of kinesiology and ways to better herself, you can either find her at the gym or playing soccer.
